KPAC PNG and Anglicare PNG Inc. have partnered to enhance social welfare and community health services in the Western Highlands Province, in the delivery of community based screening programs, tailored prevention and referral pathways. By combining KPAC PNG’s technical expertise with Anglicare PNG’s extensive experience in community development and support programs, the partnership focuses on improving access to essential services, strengthening health systems, and empowering vulnerable populations. Together, they work to create sustainable, positive impacts in the areas of health, education, and social well-being.
KPAC PNG and ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) have partnered to enhance community development and humanitarian aid efforts in the Morobe Province. By combining KPAC PNG’s technical expertise and local knowledge with ADRA’s experience in disaster response, health, and education programs, the partnership aims to deliver sustainable solutions that improve livelihoods, promote resilience, and support vulnerable communities across the region.
KPAC PNG and ASHM (Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine) have partnered to strengthen efforts in combating HIV, viral hepatitis, and other sexual health issues in Papua New Guinea. By combining KPAC PNG’s local expertise and community networks with ASHM’s technical knowledge and training resources, the collaboration focuses on improving prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care services. Together, they aim to enhance health outcomes through capacity building, community engagement, and evidence-based interventions.
KPAC PNG and the Burnet Institute have partnered to strengthen health research and program implementation in Papua New Guinea, through a number of different projects, including the Sexual & Reproductive Health Integration Project. Leveraging Burnet Institute’s expertise in infectious disease research and public health, along with KPAC PNG’s local knowledge and technical capacity, the collaboration focuses on improving health outcomes through evidence-based interventions, capacity building, and community engagement. This partnership aims to advance efforts in disease prevention, treatment, and health system strengthening across the region.
KPAC PNG and the Catholic Church Health Services of Papua New Guinea have partnered to strengthen healthcare delivery and improve health outcomes across the country. This collaboration leverages KPAC PNG’s technical expertise and community network alongside the Catholic Church’s extensive health service network and community reach. Together, they focus on expanding access to quality healthcare through joint initiatives in health system strengthening, capacity building, and community health programs.
FHI 360 is partnering with KPAC to strengthen community-led HIV services and advocacy in a number of provinces in PNG. Through this collaboration, FHI 360 provides technical support, capacity building, and program coordination to support KPAC PNG and its member organisations deliver more responsive, equitable, and evidence-based services for key populations. This partnership is part of the Indo Pacific HIV Partnership, through UNAIDS.
Health Equity Matters works alongside KPAC as a peer organisation, providing support in organisational capacity development – building the governance, financial, compliance and program management capacity of KPAC, so that it is a strong, robust, sustainable organisation. Health Equity Matters (and formally, AFAO), has partnered with KPAC since its inception in 2018, and prior to that, with its founding members. Together, they work towards building stronger, community led response to HIV, TB and STIs in Papua New Guinea.
KPAC PNG and Hope Worldwide have partnered to improve health and social outcomes in communities in PNG, particularly in the National Capital District (NCD), in the delivery of community based screening, PrEP intervention and technical mentoring for outreach peers. Combining KPAC PNG’s technical expertise with Hope Worldwide’s experience in community development and healthcare outreach, the partnership focuses on delivering sustainable programs for vulnerable populations. Together, they aim to foster healthier, more resilient communities through collaborative initiatives and targeted interventions.
KPAC PNG and Save the Children PNG have a long-standing relationship grounded in practical community support, particularly through Save the Children’s ongoing operational assistance to several KPAC member organisations, including Friends Frangipani and Kapul Champions. This collaboration continues to play an important role in strengthening access to services for key populations, supporting climate resilience initiatives, and improving literacy and community wellbeing. By combining Save the Children’s extensive community programming experience with KPAC PNG’s national coordination and lived-experience leadership, the partnership helps create stronger, more resilient, and more inclusive support systems for key populations across Papua New Guinea.
KPAC collaborates with UNAIDS to advance a strong, community-led HIV response in Papua New Guinea. Through this collaboration, KPAC PNG brings the voices and priorities of key populations into national dialogue, while UNAIDS provides strategic guidance, technical expertise, and coordination across the wider HIV sector. Together, they work to ensure that national HIV policies and programmes remain inclusive, equitable, and aligned with global commitments to end AIDS.
KPAC PNG and World Vision PNG partner through the Global Fund’s support in PNG – World Vision as the GF Principal Recipient, and KPAC as key partner in the community-led response.
KPAC PNG works with the World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure that community perspectives are reflected in national HIV and sexual health policies, guidelines, and coordination efforts. Through this partnership, KPAC PNG contributes community insights and lived experience to strengthen public health planning, while WHO provides technical guidance and global best practice. Together, they support a more inclusive, evidence-informed, and people-centred health response in Papua New Guinea.
