We Are

Igat Hope PNG

Igat Hope PNG is a national, community-based organization dedicated to representing and supporting people living with HIV (PLHIV) across Papua New Guinea. Established in 2002, Igat Hope has grown into a respected voice for PLHIV, working to ensure their rights, dignity, and access to quality health care and support services are upheld at every level of society.

As a founding member of the Key Population Advocacy Consortium (KPAC PNG), Igat Hope plays a central role in driving inclusive, evidence-based, and rights-focused advocacy for individuals and communities affected by HIV. We are a trusted platform for community-led dialogue, policy engagement, peer support, and awareness-raising efforts across the country.

Our work is guided by the lived experiences of people living with HIV. Through strong partnerships with government, civil society, and international stakeholders, Igat Hope is committed to creating a future where no one is left behind in the HIV response.
